PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Driver Side)

  2. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

  3. DISCONNECT FRONT SEATBACK PAD WITH COVER

      Disengage the 2 hooks to disconnect each rubber band of the front seatback pad with cover.

  4. REMOVE INNER NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Remove the screw.

      Disengage the clamp.

      Disengage the inner No. 1 front seat cushion shield from the clip as shown in the illustration.

      Disengage the claw.

      Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

      Disengage the 3 guides to remove the inner No. 1 front seat cushion shield.

      Remove the clip.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Disengage the claw and 3 guides.

      Disengage the 2 guides and clip to remove the front seat cushion shield.

      Disengage the 2 clamps.

    4. B0076EL

      Disengage the 3 claws and open the wire harness cover.

      Disconnect the 2 connectors from the position control ECU and switch assembly.

    6. for Driver Side:

        Disconnect the connector from the front lumbar power seat switch.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

      Remove the screw.

      Disengage the 2 claws and 3 guides to remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

    Click here

  9. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  10. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  11. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. Disengage the clamp.

      Disengage the fastener and separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

      Disengage the claw and 3 clamps.

      Tech Tips

      Disengage the 3 clamps first.

    6. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

      Remove the clip.

      Using a T40 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 4 bolts and separate type front seatback assembly from the separate type front seat cushion assembly.

  14. REMOVE RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL CAP

      Disengage the claw and 2 guides to remove the reclining remote control cap.

  15. REMOVE RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 screws.

      Disengage the 2 guides to separate the reclining remote control lever sub-assembly.

      Disconnect the reclining adjuster equalizing cable assembly to remove the reclining remote control lever sub-assembly.

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Remove the 3 hog rings.

      Disengage the 2 fasteners.

      Pull out the 2 tabs.

      Open the 2 fasteners.

      Disengage each claw and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK PAD WITH COVER


    1. w/ Climate Control Seat System:

        Disengage the 2 claws to separate the seatback climate control blower from the front seatback pad with cover.

      Remove the 2 nuts and disengage the 2 brackets.

    3. Remove the front seatback pad with cover.

  19. REMOVE SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the clip.

      Remove the seatback climate control blower.

  20. REMOVE LH SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the guide to remove the LH seat reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  21. REMOVE LH SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the guide to remove the LH seat reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  22. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Disengage the claw to remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  26. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR

      Disengage each claw to remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

    3. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  29. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HOOK (for Driver Side)


    1. Remove the 2 front seatback hooks from the lumbar support adjuster assembly.

  30. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HOOK (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. Remove the 2 front seatback hooks from the front seatback spring sub-assembly.

  31. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER EQUALIZING CABLE ASSEMBLY

      Remove the clamp (B) and disengage the clamp (A).

      Disconnect the reclining adjuster equalizing cable assembly to remove it.

  32. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT SEAT WIRE


    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the No. 2 front seat wire.

  33. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD WITH COVER


    1. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disengage the 3 clamps.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

    2. for Front Passenger Side:

        Disengage the claw to separate the connector.

      Disengage the hook.

      Disengage the 7 hooks and remove the front seat cushion pad with cover.

  34. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL DUCT (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the seat cushion climate control duct from the seat cushion climate control blower assembly.

  35. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BRACKET (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Remove the 2 screws and seat cushion climate control bracket from the seat cushion climate control blower assembly.

  36. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER ASSEMBLY (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Disconnect the connector.

      Remove the seat cushion climate control blower assembly.

  37. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Disengage the clip (A).

    2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the clip (B) to remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  38. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the clip to remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

        Disengage the clamp.

      Disengage the 6 hooks to remove the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly from the front seat adjuster assembly.

  42. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE


    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat wire.

  43. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

      Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.
