  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

      Install the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE


    1. Connect each connector and engage each clamp to install the front seat wire.

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B0075C7

      Engage the 6 hooks to install the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly to the front seat adjuster assembly.

      w/ Climate Control Seat System:


      1. Engage the clamp.

  4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH


    1. Engage the 3 claws to install the front seat cushion edge protector LH.

      Install the screw.

  5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH

    Tech Tips

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Engage the clip (B) to install the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

    2. Engage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Engage the clip (A).

  7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

      Engage the clip to install the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

    2. Engage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the screw.

  8. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER ASSEMBLY (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Install the seat cushion climate control blower assembly.

      Connect the connector.

  9. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BRACKET (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Install the seat cushion climate control bracket to the seat cushion climate control blower assembly with the 2 screws.

  10. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL DUCT (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Engage the 2 claws to install the seat cushion climate control duct to the seat cushion climate control blower assembly.

  11. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD WITH COVER


    1. Temporarily install the front seat cushion pad with cover.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the front seat cushion pad with cover.

      Engage the 7 hooks to install the front seat cushion pad with cover.

      Engage the hook.

    4. for Front Passenger Side:

        Engage the claw to install the connector.

    5. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Connect the connector.

      2. Engage the 3 clamps.

  12. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT SEAT WIRE


    1. Connect each connector and engage each clamp to install the No. 2 front seat wire.

  13. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER EQUALIZING CABLE ASSEMBLY

      Connect the reclining adjuster equalizing cable assembly to install it.

      Engage the clamp (A) and install the clamp (B).

  14. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK HOOK (for Driver Side)


    1. Install the 2 front seatback hooks to the lumbar support adjuster assembly.

  15. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK HOOK (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. Install the 2 front seatback hooks to the front seatback spring sub-assembly.

  16. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

  17. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

      Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Engage the 2 claws to install the front seatback spring sub-assembly to the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

      Install the clamp.

  18. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR

      Engage each claw to install the 2 front seatback edge protectors to the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  19. INSTALL LIMIT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)

      Engage the 2 guides to install the limit switch assembly.

    2. Install the screw.

  20. INSTALL LIMIT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

      Engage the 2 guides to install the limit switch assembly.

    2. Install the screw.

    3. Connect the connector.

  21. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Engage the claw to install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  23. INSTALL LH SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Engage the guide to install the LH seat reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

    2. Install the screw.

  24. INSTALL LH SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

      Engage the guide to install the LH seat reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

    2. Install the screw.

  25. INSTALL SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Install the seatback climate control blower.

    2. A01F9XL

      Install the clip.

    3. Connect the connector.

  26. INSTALL FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  27. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK PAD WITH COVER


    1. Temporarily install the front seatback pad with cover.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the front seatback pad with cover.

      Engage the 2 brackets and install the front seatback pad with cover with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      Note


      • For vehicles with a front seat airbag assembly, the front seatback pad with cover must be securely installed. Otherwise, the front seat airbag assembly may not deploy properly.

      • Make sure that the strap is not twisted after installing the nut.

      • Install the brackets securely.

    3. w/ Climate Control Seat System:

        Engage the 2 claws to install the seatback climate control blower to the front seatback pad with cover.

  28. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Engage each claw to install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    2. B0074LN

      Close the 2 fasteners.

      Insert the 2 tabs.

      Engage the 2 fasteners.

      Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the front seatback pad with cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the front seatback pad with cover.

  29. INSTALL RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Connect the reclining adjuster equalizing cable assembly to the reclining remote control lever sub-assembly.

      Engage the 2 guides to install the reclining remote control lever sub-assembly.

      Install the 2 screws.

  30. INSTALL RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL CAP

      Engage the claw and 2 guides to install the reclining remote control cap.

  31. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

      Using a T40 "TORX" socket wrench, install the separate type front seatback assembly to the separate type front seat cushion assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Install the clip.

    3. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Engage the clamp.

      2. Connect the connector.

      Tech Tips

      Engage the claw first.

        Connect the connector to the front lumbar power seat switch.

      Connect the 2 connectors to the position control ECU and switch assembly.

      Engage the 3 claws to close the wire harness cover.

      Engage the 2 clamps.

      Engage the 2 guides and clip to install the front seat cushion shield.

  40. INSTALL INNER NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Install the clip to the inner No. 1 front seat cushion shield.

      Engage the 3 guides to install the inner No. 1 front seat cushion shield.

  41. CONNECT FRONT SEATBACK PAD WITH COVER

      Engage the 2 hooks to connect each rubber band of the front seatback pad with cover.
