DESCRIPTION

The airbag ECU assembly receives signals from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) via CAN communication.

These DTCs are stored when a malfunction is detected in the signal sent from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly).

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK WARNING LIGHT (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. When approximately 3 seconds have elapsed after turning the engine switch on (IG), check that the ABS warning and slip indicator lights turn off.

  2. CHECK DTC


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.

    2. Check for DTCs.

      DTCs other than B16AA/88 or B16AB/88 are not output. A
      DTC B16AA/88 or B16AB/88 and DTC U0125/99, U0126/99, U0129/99 or U0130/99 are output simultaneously. B

  3. CHECK DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs stored in memory.

      Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Clear DTCs

    2. Turn the engine switch off.

    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.

    4. Check for DTCs.
