THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM Glass Breakage Sensor Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) detects that a glass breakage sensor (quarter window assembly RH, quarter window assembly LH or back window glass) is broken, the theft deterrent system switches from the armed state to the alarm sounding state.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (SEALED GLAS BRAK SEN)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

    1. Disconnect the O2 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O2-7 (GPBS) - T30-1 (SSR+) Always Below 1 Ω
      O2-7 (GPBS) or T30-1 (SSR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
