GENERATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the 2 wire harness clamp brackets to the generator assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:

      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

   2. Install the generator assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      43 N*m  { 438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf }

   3. Engage the 4 wire harness clamps.

   4. Connect the generator assembly connector.

   5. Connect the wire harness to terminal B with the nut.

      Torque:

      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

   6. Install the terminal cap.

   7. Engage the 2 wire harness clamps.

2. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT

3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH NO. 2 AIR CLEANER HOSE

   Click here

4. INSTALL INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER

   Click here

5. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

   Click here

6. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER

   Click here

7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
