ULTRASONIC SENSOR(for Rear Side) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY

   Click here

2. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (for Corner Sensor)

   
   

   1. 

      Disconnect the connector.

   2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

      Tech Tips

      The illustration is for the LH side. The orientation for the RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

3. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (for Back Sensor)

   
   

   1. 

      Disengage the 2 claws.

   2. Disconnect the connector.

   3. Disengage the clamp and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

   4. 

      *a	Protective tape

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the ultrasonic sensor clip from the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for all ultrasonic sensor clips.

4. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER

   Tech Tips

   Perform this step only when necessary.

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for all No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainers.
