  • When replacing the telematics transceiver, make sure to replace it with a new one.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)


    1. Disconnect the O160 radio receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the O146 telematics transceiver connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O160-13 (VOR+) - O146-3 (VOT+) Always Below 1 Ω
      O160-14 (VOR-) - O146-5 (VOT-) Always Below 1 Ω
      O160-13 (VOR+) or O146-3 (VOT+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O160-14 (VOR-) or O146-5 (VOT-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  2. INSPECT TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER

      Check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.
