  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. TEMPORARILY INSTALL TOE CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY

      *a Matchmark

      Using the toe adjust cam sub-assembly, No. 2 toe adjust plate and nut, temporarily install the toe control link sub-assembly to the rear suspension member sub-assembly.

      Note


      • Insert the toe adjust cam sub-assembly from the front of the vehicle.

      • Hold the toe adjust cam sub-assembly while rotating the nut.

      • Align the matchmarks on the toe adjust cam sub-assembly, No. 2 toe adjust plate and rear suspension member sub-assembly.

    2. Install the toe control link sub-assembly to the rear axle assembly with a new nut.

      Torque:
      70 N*m  { 714 kgf*cm, 52 ft.*lbf }

  2. STABILIZE SUSPENSION

  3. INSTALL TOE CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the toe control link sub-assembly (rear suspension member sub-assembly side) with the nut.

      Torque:
      117 N*m  { 1193 kgf*cm, 86 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Hold the toe adjust cam sub-assembly while rotating the nut.
