CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM(for 2GR-FSE) Cruise SET Indicator Light Circuit

DESCRIPTION

• The ECM turns on the SET indicator by sending indicator output demand signals to the combination meter assembly via CAN communication.

• The cruise control SET indicator illuminates when the cruise control system is controlling vehicle speed.

• The cruise SET indicator light circuit uses CAN communication. If the cruise control indicator is not functioning correctly, check for CAN communication DTCs before troubleshooting this circuit.

PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (INDICAT. SET, METER DISPLAY 1)

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.

   5. Perform "Active Test" according to the display on the GTS.

2. READ VALUE USING GTS (SET/COAST SWITCH)

   
   

   1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Cruise Control / Data List.

   2. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.
