ENGINE OIL COOLER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 5 ENGINE WIRE


    1. Engage the 2 clamps to install the No. 5 engine wire to the oil cooler assembly.

  2. INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY


    1. Apply a small amount of engine oil to 2 new O-rings.

    2. Install the 2 O-rings to the stiffening crankcase assembly.

      Install the oil cooler assembly to the stiffening crankcase assembly with the 4 bolts in several steps in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }
    4. B0074LHC02
      *1 No. 4 Water By-pass Hose
      *2 No. 5 Water By-pass Hose
      *a LH Side
      *b Up
      *c 45°
      *d Paint

      Connect the No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 5 water by-pass hose to the oil cooler assembly and slide the 2 clips to secure them.

      Tech Tips

      Engage the clips within the area shown in the illustration.

    5. Connect the 2 No. 5 engine wire connectors.

  3. INSTALL COMPRESSOR AND MAGNETIC CLUTCH
