      (Engine Oil Temperature Sensor)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 30°C (86°F) 2.647 to 3.021 kΩ

      Note

      When checking the engine oil temperature sensor in water, be careful not to allow water to contact the terminals. After the check, wipe the water off the engine oil temperature sensor.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the engine oil temperature sensor.
