  1. INSPECT OIL PRESSURE SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Oil Pressure Switching Valve Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 13 to 17 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the oil pressure switching valve assembly.

      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Oil Pressure Switching Valve Assembly)

      Connect a battery positive (+) lead to terminal 1 and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2.

      Check that a clicking sound is heard from the oil pressure switching valve assembly.

      Note


      • Perform this test within 10 seconds to prevent the coil from burning out.

      • Always switch the voltage on and off at the battery side, not the oil pressure switching valve assembly side.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the oil pressure switching valve assembly.
