COOLING FAN MOTOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER

  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

    Click here

  3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER

    Click here

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

    Click here

  6. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

    Click here

  8. DISCONNECT ENGINE ROOM MAIN WIRE

    Click here

  9. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  10. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the clamp to disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose sub-assembly from the radiator hose clamp.

    2. Remove the radiator hose clamp from the fan shroud assembly.

  11. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM ECU OUTLET DUCT

  12. REMOVE FAN SHROUD ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 3 claws.

    2. Disengage the 3 guides to remove the fan shroud assembly from the radiator assembly.

      Note

      Do not damage the radiator assembly when removing the fan shroud assembly.

  13. REMOVE COOLING FAN ECU


    1. B0075KB

      Disconnect the cooling fan motor LH connector and cooling fan motor RH connector.

    2. Disengage the 4 clamps to disconnect the wire harness.

    3. Remove the 2 screws and cooling fan ECU.

  14. REMOVE FAN LH


    1. B0073VW

      Remove the nut and fan LH.

  15. REMOVE FAN RH


    1. B0072QU

      Remove the nut and fan RH.

  16. REMOVE COOLING FAN MOTOR LH


    1. B0077QF

      Remove the 3 screws and cooling fan motor LH.

  17. REMOVE COOLING FAN MOTOR RH

    *B for 200 W Type

    1. Remove the 3 screws and cooling fan motor RH.
