PURGE VALVE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL PURGE VALVE (PURGE VSV)


    1. B0077IKC01
      *1 No. 1 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose
      *2 No. 2 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose
      *a 120°
      *b Upper Side
      *c Paint Mark

      Install the purge valve (purge VSV) to the intake air surge tank assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

    2. Connect the purge valve (purge VSV) connector.

    3. Connect the No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose to the purge valve (purge VSV).

    4. Connect the No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose to the purge valve (purge VSV) and slide the clip to secure it.

      Tech Tips

      Engage the clip within the area shown in the illustration.
