INJECTOR DRIVER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL INJECTOR DRIVER

    Note


    • Be careful not to drop or strike the injector driver.

    • The injector driver is grounded at the bolt and 2 nuts. To ensure that it is grounded, clean the installation surfaces of the injector driver and engine before installing the injector driver.


    1. Install the injector driver to the timing chain cover sub-assembly with the bolt and 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

      *a Lock Lever

      Connect the injector driver connector.

    3. Connect the 3 connectors (with lock) to the injector driver and move the lock lever to engage the lock of each connector (with lock) as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Securely connect the connectors (with lock) to the injector driver and engage the lock.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER


    1. Install the No. 1 engine cover to the timing chain cover sub-assembly with the 3 clips.

  3. INSTALL INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER

  4. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

  6. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER

    Click here

  7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
