  1. CHECK VOICE GUIDANCE SETTING


    1. Check that the voice guidance settings are not off.

    CHANGE VOICE GUIDANCE SETTINGS TO ON

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NAVIGATION ECU)


    1. Disconnect the O160 radio receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the O162 navigation ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O160-22 (SI+) - O162-6 (VOI+) Always Below 1 Ω
      O160-23 (SI-) - O162-7 (VOI-) Always Below 1 Ω
      O160-22 (SI+) or O162-6 (VOI+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O160-23 (SI-) or O162-7 (VOI-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O162-8 (SLD1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
