PROCEDURE
INSTALL TIMING CHAIN COVER OIL SEAL
Apply MP grease to the lip of a new timing chain cover oil seal.
Note
Keep the lip of the timing chain cover oil seal free from foreign matter.
Do not allow MP grease to contact the dust seal.

Using SST and a hammer, tap in the timing chain cover oil seal until its surface is flush with the timing chain cover edge.

| -0.75 to -1.45 mm (-0.0295 to -0.0571 in.) (From the edge of the timing chain cover assembly) |
Note
Do not tap in the timing chain cover oil seal at an angle.
Keep the lip of the timing chain cover oil seal free from foreign matter.
Wipe off any excess MP grease from the crankshaft.
INSTALL CRANKSHAFT PULLEY ASSEMBLY
INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT
INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK
