AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY


  2. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY (for LHD)

      Remove the 2 bolts and battery tray.

  3. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY (for RHD)

      Remove the 2 bolts and battery tray.

  4. DISCONNECT NO. 3 ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK

      *A for LHD
      *B for RHD

      Remove the bolt and nut, and disconnect the No. 3 engine room relay block from the vehicle body.

  5. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 1)

      Disengage the 2 clamps and disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

    2. B0077KRC01
      *A for LHD
      *B for RHD

      Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor from the exhaust manifold sub-assembly RH (TWC: Front Catalyst).

      Note

      If the air fuel ratio sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  6. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 2)

      Disengage the clamp and disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

    2. B0074AVC01
      *A for LHD
      *B for RHD

      Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor from the exhaust manifold sub-assembly LH (TWC: Front Catalyst).

      Note

      If the air fuel ratio sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
