DYNAMIC REAR STEERING SYSTEM ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM ACTUATOR FORCED ACTIVATION

   Note

   
   

   • When forcibly activating the actuator, raise the vehicle so that the rear wheels can be turned without any load.

   • Make sure that the vehicle speed is 4 km/h (2 mph) or less.

   
   

   1. Raise the vehicle and center the steering wheel.

   2. Turn the engine switch off.

   3. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   4. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

   5. Turn the GTS on.

   6. Enter the following menus: Chassis / DRS / Utility / Activate Rear Steering Motor.

      
      Chassis > DRS > Utility

      Tester Display
      Activate Rear Steering Motor

   7. Follow the GTS display and perform actuator forced activation.
