ROOF CARRIER INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL ROOF CARRIER ASSEMBLY


    1. Clean the threaded surface on the vehicle body with a non-residue solvent.

    2. Apply adhesive to the threads of the 8 bolts.

      Adhesive
      Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent

    3. Install the roof carrier with the 8 bolts.

      Torque:
      39 N*m  { 398 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf }

    4. Adjust the roof rack support positions and tighten the roof carrier caps.

  2. INSTALL REAR ROOF RACK LEG COVER LH

    1. Attach the 2 guides and 4 claws to install the cover.
