  • The procedures listed below are for LHD vehicles.


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  2. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Remove the rear No. 1 seat assembly Click here.

  3. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER BOLT COVER

    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  4. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

    1. Remove the screw and release handle.

  5. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT RECLINING COVER LH

    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the 3 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and then remove the cover.

  6. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT RECLINING COVER RH

    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the 4 claws and remove the cover.

  7. REMOVE UPPER SEAT TRACK RAIL COVER LH

    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  8. REMOVE UPPER SEAT TRACK RAIL COVER RH

    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  9. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT LEG SIDE COVER


    1. A01EP94

      Remove the 4 screws and detach the 4 claws.

    2. A01ERC0

      Remove the bolt that is securing the fold seat stopper band and remove the seat leg side cover together with the fold seat stopper band.

  10. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT PROTECTOR


    1. A01ESK0

      Detach the claw and remove the wire harness connector.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:

      Detach the claw and remove the wire harness connector.

    3. A01ES77

      Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

    4. Detach the claw and remove the seat protector from the seat hinge.

    5. Detach the 2 claws, open the protector and remove the wire harness.

  11. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Detach the wire harness clamp.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:

      Detach the wire harness clamp.

    3. Remove the 2 nuts and hinge.

  12. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Remove the 2 nuts and hinge.

  13. REMOVE SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP

      Detach the claw and open the cap.

    2. A01ER1C

      Remove the screw and anchor cover cap.

  14. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK STAY COVER LH

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.

  15. REMOVE REAR UNDER SIDE COVER LH

      Detach the 10 claws.

    2. A01ERPJ

      Remove the 5 screws.

    3. Detach the 2 clips and 2 claws, and remove the cover.

  16. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER RH

    1. Remove the 4 screws.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.

  17. REMOVE REAR SEAT UNDER TRAY COVER LH

    1. Remove the 2 screws and cover.

  18. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Remove the bolt and belt.

      Tech Tips

      The No. 1 seat 3 point type belt anchor is fixed with the same bolt as the rear No. 1 seat inner belt LH. Therefore, it becomes disconnected when the bolt is removed.

  19. DISCONNECT NO. 1 SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Disconnect the belt anchor.
