  1. INSPECT CLIMATE CONTROL SEAT SWITCH LH

    (Climate Control Seat Switch LH)

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for LH Side
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      5 (V5L) - 4 (VSL) COLD (Hi) to HOT (Hi) 1 Ω to 5 kΩ

      Tech Tips

      As the dial is being turned, the resistance changes gradually.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the climate control seat switch LH.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the switch connector, and check that the climate control seat switch LH illuminates.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 8 (ILL+)

      Battery negative (-) → 1 (ILL-)

      		 Switch illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the climate control seat switch LH.
