  • Use the same procedures for LHD and RHD vehicles.

  • The procedures listed below are for LHD vehicles.


  1. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    A01EQMZ

    1. Temporarily install the seat cushion frame with the 5 nuts and bolt.

    2. Tighten the 5 nuts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    3. Using a T40 "TORX" socket, tighten the bolt.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Install the belt with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not overlap the anchor part of the seat belt and protruding parts of the seat.

  3. INSTALL SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Seat Heater System)

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the seat heater control.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION HOLDER BRACKET RH (w/ Seat Heater System)

    1. Install the holder bracket with the 2 screws.

    2. Connect the seat wire connector.

  5. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT LOCK CABLE ASSEMBLY

    A01EQ20

    1. Attach the clamp to install the seat lock cable.

    2. Attach the 3 cable clamps to connect the 3 cables.

    3. A01EQ63

      Install the lower seat track bracket with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }
    4. A01EPRC

      Install the lower seat track bracket with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL FOLD SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    A01ENFM

    1. Install the 2 fold seat lock control cables.

    2. Attach the 2 cable clamps to connect the 2 cables.

  7. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    A01EOE3

    1. Temporarily install the seatback frame with the 4 bolts.

    2. Using a T40 "TORX" socket, tighten the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 FOLD SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

    1. Attach the clamp to install the lock control cable.

    2. Attach the 2 cable clamps to connect the cable.

  9. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTING CABLE ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Attach the clamp to install the adjusting cable.

    2. Attach the 2 cable clamps to connect the cable.

  10. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT RECLINING COVER RH

    A01ENTQ

    1. Attach the claw to install the cover.

    2. Install the screw.

  11. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT RECLINING COVER LH

    1. Attach the clamp to install the cover.

    2. Install the screw.

  12. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER RH

    1. Attach the claw to install the cover.

    2. Install the screw.

  13. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER LH


    1. Attach the claw to install the cover.

    2. Install the screw.

  14. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)


    1. A01ERJZE02

      Set the rear seatback heater assembly with the name stamp side facing the seatback cover.

    2. Install the rear seatback heater assembly with new tack pins.

  15. INSTALL REAR SEPARATE TYPE SEATBACK COVER

    1. Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

      Connect the seatback cover bracket to the seatback pad.

  16. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Install the seatback cover with pad.

    2. Pass the side airbag wire harness through the hole in the seatback.

    3. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. A01EPPO

        Pass the seatback heater wire harness through the hole in the seatback.

      2. A01EQLXE01

        Connect the seatback heater wire harness and install a new cable tie.

    4. A01EMVY

      Install the seatback cover bracket to the seat frame with the cap nut.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      CAUTION:

      After the seatback trim cover is assembled, make sure the side airbag strap is not twisted.

    5. A01EN4UE01

      Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings to the seatback frame.

  17. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT ASSEMBLY

    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 supports.

  18. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  19. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Push the board down to attach the 2 claws on the bottom.

    2. Attach the 2 claws on the top of the board to install it.

  20. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER

    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the cover.

  21. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)


    1. A01EPQNE01

      Set the rear seat cushion heater assembly with the name stamp side facing the seat cushion cover.

    2. Install the rear seat cushion heater assembly with new tack pins.

  22. INSTALL REAR SEPARATE TYPE SEAT CUSHION COVER

    A01EQFPE01

    1. Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

      Attach the 3 pieces of fastening tape.

  23. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. Install the seat cushion cover with pad.

    2. Pass the side airbag wire harness through the hole in the seat cushion.

    3. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. A01EPNC

        Pass the seatback heater wire harness through the hole in the seat cushion.

      2. A01EN8W

        Connect the 2 seat heater connectors.

    4. Attach the side airbag wire harness clamps.

  24. INSTALL REAR SEAT UNDER TRAY COVER RH

    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the cover.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  25. INSTALL REAR POWER SEAT SWITCH


    1. Install the power seat switch with the 2 screws.

  26. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION PLATE

    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the seat cushion plate.

  27. INSTALL REAR UNDER SIDE COVER LH

    1. Attach the 2 claws and clip to install the cover.

    2. Install the 5 screws.

  28. INSTALL REAR SEAT COVER

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.

    2. Install the 3 screws.

      Attach the 12 claws.

  29. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

      Install the hinge with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    2. Attach the wire harness clamp.

    3. w/ Seat Heater System:

      Attach the wire harness clamp.

  30. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Install the hinge with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  31. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT PROTECTOR


    1. Install the wire harness, and attach the 2 claws to close the protector.

      Attach the claw to install the protector to the seat hinge.

    3. Install the clip.

      Attach the claw to install the wire harness connector.

    5. w/ Seat Heater System:

      Attach the claw to install the wire harness connector.

  32. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE HINGE MALE COVER RH

    1. Attach the clip to install the cover.

    1. Attach the clip to install the cover.

  34. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE HINGE FEMALE COVER

    1. Attach the 6 claws to install the 2 covers.

  35. INSTALL FOLD SEAT STOPPER BAND ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the fold seat stopper band to the seat leg side cover.

  36. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT LEG SIDE COVER

      Pass the fold seat stopper band through the seat leg side cover and attach it to the seat cushion frame with the bolt.

    2. A01ENX8

      Attach the 3 claws to install the seat leg side cover.

    3. Install the 4 screws.

  37. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION COVER

    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 covers.

  38. INSTALL UPPER SEAT TRACK RAIL COVER RH

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.
