BACK DOOR LOCK INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK PROTECTOR (w/ Power Back Door)

      *1 Protector (A)

      Attach the 2 claws to install the protector (A).

    2. A01ESMXE01

      *1 Protector (B)

      Attach the 7 claws to install the protector (B).

    3. Install the screw.

  2. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. w/o Power Back Door:


      1. A01EO3J

        Install the door lock with the 3 bolts.

        Torque:
        13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

      2. Connect the connector.

    2. w/ Power Back Door:


      1. A01ERGN

        Install the back door lock with the 4 bolts.

        Torque:
        13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

      2. Attach the guide.

      3. Connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK COVER


    1. A01ENJT

      Attach the 4 claws to install the cover.

  4. INSTALL BACK DOOR GARNISH


    1. A01EQR4

      Attach the 14 clips to install the back door garnish.

  5. INSTALL BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH


    1. w/o Power Back Door:

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

    2. w/ Power Back Door:


      1. A01EPSU

        Attach the clip and 2 claws to install the back door side garnish.

  6. INSTALL BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH


    1. A01ER4G

      Attach the 3 clips to install the back door side garnish.

  7. INSTALL CENTER BACK DOOR GARNISH


    1. A01ERXU

      Attach the 5 clips and 2 claws to install the back door garnish.

  8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  9. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH


    1. Install the engine room side cover LH with the 7 clips.
