FRONT BUMPER INSTALLATION

  1. INSTALL FRONT UPPER CENTER BUMPER RETAINER


    1. Install the front upper center bumper retainer with the 3 bolts.

  2. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  3. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH


    1. Attach the 3 clips to install the front bumper side support LH.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  6. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the front No. 2 bumper extension sub-assembly LH with the 4 nuts.

      Torque:
      67 N*m  { 683 kgf*cm, 49 ft.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  8. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 6 nuts.

      Torque:
      71 N*m  { 724 kgf*cm, 52 ft.*lbf }

  9. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER MOUNTING BRACKET LH


    1. Install the front bumper mounting bracket LH with the bolt.

  10. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER MOUNTING BRACKET RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  11. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER


    1. Install the front bumper energy absorber.

  12. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER


    1. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

      Connect the headlight cleaner hose.

    2. Connect the No. 4 engine room wire connector and attach the 10 claws to install the front bumper cover.

    3. Install the 5 clips, 4 screws and 4 bolts.

    4. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, install the 6 screws.

  13. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY


    1. w/ Wide View Front Monitor System:

      Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 14 claws to install the radiator grille assembly.

    3. Attach the 4 clips to install the detached part of the upper radiator seal.

    4. Install the screw and 2 clips.

  14. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL


    1. Install the upper radiator support seal with the 3 clips.

  15. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH


    1. Install the engine room side cover RH with the 7 clips.

  16. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Push in the clip to install the front fender splash shield sub-assembly LH.

    2. Install the 3 bolts and 2 screws.

  17. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  18. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  19. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH


    1. Install the engine room side cover LH with the 7 clips.
