FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH


    1. Remove the 7 clips and engine room side cover LH.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note


    • w/ Navigation System:

      After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the 3 bolts and 2 screws.

    2. Turn the clip indicated by the arrow in the illustration to remove the front fender splash shield sub-assembly LH.

  4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH


    1. Remove the 7 clips and engine room side cover RH.

  6. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

      Remove the 3 clips and upper radiator support seal.

  7. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY

      *1 Protective Tape

      Put protective tape around the radiator grille assembly.

    2. Remove the screw and 2 clips.

    3. Detach the 4 clips and partially remove the upper radiator seal.

    4. Detach the 14 claws and remove the radiator grille assembly.

    5. w/ Wide View Front Monitor System:

      Disconnect the connector.

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER


    1. Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

    2. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, remove the 6 screws.

    3. Remove the 5 clips, 4 screws and 4 bolts.

    4. Detach the 10 claws, disconnect the No. 4 engine room wire connector and remove the front bumper cover.

      w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

      Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose and remove the front bumper cover.

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

      Remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  10. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER MOUNTING BRACKET LH

      Remove the bolt and front bumper mounting bracket LH.

  11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER MOUNTING BRACKET RH

  12. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 6 nuts and front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.

  13. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01ERNK

      Remove the 4 nuts and front No. 2 bumper extension sub-assembly LH.

  14. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the 3 clips and remove the front bumper side support LH.
