PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC


    1. Clear the DTC Click here.

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.

      OK
      No DTC is output.

    NG
    OK
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER - MAYDAY BATTERY)


    1. Disconnect the P2 telematics transceiver connector.

    2. Disconnect the j1 mayday battery connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P2-30 (BBI+) - j1-1 (BBO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      P2-13 (BBI-) - j1-5 (BBO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      P2-20 (CTR1) - j1-3 (BTR1) Always Below 1 Ω
      P2-21 (CTR2) - j1-4 (BTR2) Always Below 1 Ω
      P2-30 (BBI+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      P2-13 (BBI-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      P2-20 (CTR1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      P2-21 (CTR2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    OK
  3. CHECK MAYDAY BATTERY


    1. Replace the mayday battery with a normal one and check if the same problem occurs again Click here.


      1. Clear the DTC Click here.

      2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.

        OK
        No DTC is output.
