DESCRIPTION

If an open circuit in the telephone antenna assembly is detected continuously for 1 minute as a result of a terminal check performed by the telematics transceiver every minute after the engine switch is turned on (ACC), this DTC will be stored.

  3. INSPECT TELEPHONE ANTENNA ASSEMBLY


    1. Check the installation condition.


      1. Check the telephone antenna assembly for any installation problems.

  4. INSPECT TELEPHONE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01ERW1E01

      Disconnect the telephone antenna cord sub-assembly connector from the telephone antenna assembly.

    2. A01ERIDE01

      Disconnect the telephone antenna cord sub-assembly connector from the telematics transceiver.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 1 Always Below 1 Ω
      1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
