    1. The G-BOOK system provides a variety of functions. Therefore, it is important to identify whether a malfunction is related to the communication system including radio wave conditions or any other systems. Carefully confirm the conditions that caused the malfunction in order to determine if a temporary problem with the radio wave caused the malfunction.

      Displayed Message and Problem Symptom Cause
      "The lines are busy and it is not possible to display the desired content. Please try again (operate it again) after waiting for a while." is temporarily displayed. This is caused when there is a problem with the radio wave signal conditions or when the base station is busy. This is not a malfunction (convince the customer that this is not a malfunction and ask them to use the system as is).
      "The lines are busy and information was not able to be acquired." is temporarily displayed. This is caused when there is a problem with the radio wave signal conditions or when the base station is busy. This is not a malfunction (convince the customer that this is not a malfunction and ask them to use the system as is).
      After "Wait for a while." is displayed, the condition that it takes a long time to display the screen occurs temporarily. This is caused when there is a problem with the radio wave signal conditions or when the base station is busy. This is not a malfunction (convince the customer that this is not a malfunction and ask them to use the system as is).

  3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE


    1. Measure the battery voltage with the engine switch off.

      Standard voltage
      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding to the next step.
