DESCRIPTION

If the telematics transceiver detects an error in the communication between the telematics transceiver and the emergency call switch as a result of the telematics transceiver self check, this DTC will be stored.

  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTC Click here.


    NEXT
  2. CHECK DTC


    1. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again Click here.

      OK
      No DTC is output.

    OK
  3. INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01EPYFE02

      Remove the map light assembly Click here.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      30 (SIG1) - 32 (GND3) Emergency call switch not operated 410 to 414 Ω
      30 (SIG1) - 32 (GND3) Emergency call switch operated 81 to 83 Ω

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER - MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the P2 telematics transceiver connector.

    2. Disconnect the R7 map light assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P2-27 (SIG1) - R7-30 (SIG1) Always Below 1 Ω
      P2-26 (SIG-) - R7-32 (GND3) Always Below 1 Ω
      P2-27 (SIG1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      P2-26 (SIG-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
