REAR DOOR SPEAKER REMOVAL

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.

  • The procedures listed below are for the LH side.


  1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH


    1. Remove the 7 clips and engine room side cover LH.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH

      *1 Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws and remove the rear door inside handle bezel plug LH.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  4. REMOVE REAR UPPER DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL LH

      Using a moulding remover, detach the 6 claws.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the rear upper door armrest base panel LH and rear power window regulator switch assembly.

  5. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01ERTKE01

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the 11 clips.

    3. Remove the rear inner door glass weatherstrip LH together with the rear door trim board sub-assembly LH by pulling them upward in the order shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Make sure that the pin labeled A in the illustration is detached from the door panel.

    4. Disconnect the connector.

    5. A01EPPA

      Disconnect the 2 cables from the rear door inside handle sub-assembly LH.

  6. REMOVE REAR SPEAKER SET


    1. Disconnect the speaker connector.

    2. Remove the 3 screws.

    3. Detach the claw and remove the speaker.

      Note

      Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.

  7. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for 19 Speakers)


    1. A01EPLF

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 4 screws and speaker.

      Note

      Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.

  8. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for 19 Speakers)


    1. A01ENJ6

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the clamp.

    3. Remove the 2 screws and speaker.

      Note

      Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.
