This is the sound signal circuit between the multi-display controller sub-assembly and headphone terminal.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER SUB-ASSEMBLY - HEADPHONE TERMINAL)


    1. Disconnect the L55 multi-display controller sub-assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the P1 remote control adapter assembly (headphone terminal) connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L55-7 (HP2R) - P1-9 (HP1R) Always Below 1 Ω
      L55-9 (HP2L) - P1-10 (HP1L) Always Below 1 Ω
      L55-8 (SLD6) - P1-11 (SGN1) Always Below 1 Ω
      L55-3 (HP1R) - P1-1 (HP2R) Always Below 1 Ω
      L55-5 (HP1L) - P1-2 (HP2L) Always Below 1 Ω
      L55-4 (SLD5) - P1-3 (SGN2) Always Below 1 Ω
      L55-7 (HP2R) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L55-9 (HP2L) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L55-8 (SLD6) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L55-3 (HP1R) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L55-5 (HP1L) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L55-4 (SLD5) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
