  2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE

    Standard voltage
    11 to 14 V

    If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

  3. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*


    1. Check for DTCs and make a note of any codes that are output Click here.

    2. Clear the DTCs.

    3. Recheck for DTCs. Based on the DTCs output above, try to cause the output of the same CAN communication system DTC, LIN communication DTC or lighting system DTC by simulating the symptoms indicated by the DTC.
