RELAY (w/ Headlight Cleaner System) REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH


    1. Remove the 7 clips and engine room side cover LH.

  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MUDGUARD LH

    1. Remove the clip.

    2. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, remove the 4 screws and mudguard.

  3. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL PROTECTOR PIPE


    1. Remove the 6 bolts and protector pipe.

  4. REMOVE SIDE STEP ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the screw and 6 bolts.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. Detach the 10 clips and remove the double-sided tape to remove the side step.

  5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH


    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 screws.

    3. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 grommets, 12 clips and fender liner.

  6. DRAIN WASHER FLUID

      Remove the washer hose from the windshield washer motor and pump, and drain the washer fluid.

  7. REMOVE WASHER INLET SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Using a clip remover, remove the clip and washer inlet.

  8. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR ASSEMBLY

      w/ Headlight Cleaner System:


      1. Detach the clamp.

      2. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      3. Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose.

    2. w/o Headlight Cleaner System:


      1. Detach the clamp.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

      Remove the 4 bolts. Then remove the windshield washer jar.

  9. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER CONTROL RELAY


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. A01ESF5

      Remove the headlight cleaner control relay in the direction shown in the illustration.
