WASHER NOZZLE (for Front Side) REMOVAL

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for LHD and RHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH


    1. Remove the 7 clips and engine room side cover LH.

  2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH


    1. Remove the 7 clips and engine room side cover RH.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  4. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

      Remove the 3 clips and upper radiator support seal.

  5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MAIN SEAL LH

      Using a clip remover, detach the 3 clips and remove the fender main seal.

  6. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MAIN SEAL RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  7. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM LH


    1. Remove the nut, wiper arm and blade.

  8. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM RH


    1. Remove the nut, wiper arm and blade.

  9. REMOVE HOOD TO COWL TOP SEAL

      Using a clip remover, detach the 12 clips and 4 clamps, and remove the hood to cowl top seal.

  10. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the washer hose.

    2. A01EOFE

      Remove the 2 clips.

    3. Detach the 17 claws and remove the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly.

  11. REMOVE WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o PTC Heater)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure to remove the other washer nozzle.

      Detach the 3 claws and remove the washer nozzle.

    2. Disconnect the hose.

  12. REMOVE WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ PTC Heater)


    1. A01EN3T

      Detach the connector clamp and disconnect the connector.

    2. Disconnect the hose.

    3. A01ERLM

      Detach the 4 claws and remove the washer nozzle.
