DESCRIPTION

The No. 2 main body ECU controls the rear wiper motor.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (REAR WIPER MOTOR)


    1. Select the Active Test, use the intelligent tester to generate a control command, and then check the rear wiper motor.

      Note

      When a Body No. 4 (No. 2 main body ECU) related front wiper switch is on, Active Test items related to the front wiper switch are prohibited (double operation prohibition). Check that the front wiper switches are off before performing Active Test.

  2. INSPECT REAR WIPER MOTOR


    1. A01EP6KE01

      Remove the rear wiper motor Click here.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the rear wiper motor connector and check if the rear wiper motor operates.

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (+1)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (E)

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR WIPER MOTOR - NO. 2 MAIN BODY ECU AND BODY GROUND)


    1. A01ENIKE01

      Disconnect the S6 motor connector.

    2. Disconnect the L33 ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
