  1. INSPECT COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (POWER BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH)

    Component without harness connected

    (Combination Switch Assembly (Power Back Door Control Switch))

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      7 (CSW) - 12 (GND) Power back door control switch is pushed (on) Below 1 Ω
      7 (CSW) - 12 (GND) Power back door control switch is not pushed (off) 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly.
