DESCRIPTION
The power back door unit (power back door ECU) inputs signals from the latch switch, closer position switch and back door courtesy switch, which are built into the back door lock. Based on these switch signals, the latch position of the back door lock is determined.

READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (CLOSER POSITION SWITCH)
Check the Data List for proper functioning of each switch.

Remove the back door lock Click here.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LOCK - UNIT AND BODY GROUND)
Disconnect the S19 door lock connector.
Disconnect the L36 unit connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
