INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE CENTER HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

      Remove the 3 screws and duct.

  2. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 AIR DUCT

      Remove the 2 screws and duct.

  3. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

      Detach the claw and remove the wire.

    2. Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the instrument panel wire from the front passenger airbag.

      Note

      When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

    3. A01EQ80

      Remove the 2 screws.

    4. A01ES2BE01

      Detach the 5 hooks (A).

    5. Detach the 5 hooks (B) and remove the front passenger airbag from the instrument panel.

  4. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY


    1. A01EQH7

      Detach the 11 claws and remove the nozzle.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE


    1. A01EOEL

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the nozzle.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the nozzle.

  7. REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)


    1. for LHD:


      1. A01EOPC

        Detach the 2 clamps.

      2. Remove the 2 screws and navigation antenna assembly.

    2. for RHD:


      1. A01EO9G

        Detach the 2 clamps.

      2. Remove the 2 screws and navigation antenna assembly.

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE (for LHD)


    1. Detach the wire from the clamps and remove the wire from the instrument panel.

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE (for RHD)


    1. Detach the wire from the clamps and remove the wire from the instrument panel.

  10. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Detach the 7 clamps and remove the antenna cord.
