AIR SWITCHING VALVE (for Bank 1) REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH


    1. Remove the 7 clips and engine room side cover LH.

  2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      *4 Bracket

      Raise the front of the V-bank cover to detach the 3 pins. Then remove the 2 V-bank cover hooks from the bracket, and remove the V-bank cover.

  3. DISCONNECT NO. 2 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE


    1. A01EPVD

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disconnect the No. 2 air injection system hose.

  4. REMOVE AIR SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY


    1. A01ERCM

      Remove the bolt and then disconnect the wire harness clamp bracket.

    2. A01EQ4Q

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    3. A01ES1X

      Remove the 3 bolts, air switching valve and gasket.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the installation surface of the gasket.
