IGNITION COIL AND SPARK PLUG REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER


    1. A01ERKF

      Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 engine under cover.

  2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH


    1. Remove the 7 clips and engine room side cover LH.

  3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH


    1. Remove the 7 clips and engine room side cover RH.

  4. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

      Remove the 3 clips and upper radiator support seal.

  5. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Raise the front of the V-bank cover to detach the 3 pins. Then remove the 2 V-bank cover hooks from the bracket, and remove the V-bank cover.

  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the vacuum hose and No. 2 ventilation hose.

    2. Loosen the 2 hose clamps.

    3. Remove the air cleaner hose.

  7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 3 bolts and air cleaner.

  8. DISCONNECT WATER BY-PASS PIPE ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the water by-pass pipe from the cylinder head cover and timing chain cover.

    2. A01ERPY

      Remove the 3 bolts and disconnect the water by-pass pipe from the cylinder head cover.

  9. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the 8 ignition coil connectors.

    2. Remove the 8 bolts and 8 ignition coils.

  10. REMOVE SPARK PLUG


    1. Remove the 8 spark plugs.
