FRONT DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the front propeller shaft Click here.

  2. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Remove the front drive shaft Click here.

  3. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as the LH side.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION REBOUND STOPPER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the 3 bolts and suspension rebound stopper LH.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION REBOUND STOPPER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

      Remove the 3 bolts and suspension rebound stopper RH.

  6. REMOVE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the breather tube from the front differential union.

    2. Support the front differential with a jack.

      Remove bolts A and B, the nut and front differential support assembly.

    4. Remove bolts C and D.

    5. Slowly lower the jack, and remove the front differential carrier.

    6. Remove bolts E and F, and the differential support assembly.
