DESCRIPTION
The distance control ECU sends general vehicle control information, such as vehicle speed, steering angle, etc., to the millimeter wave radar sensor. The millimeter wave radar sensor sends information about whether another vehicle is present in front of the vehicle, the distance between the vehicles, relative speed, etc. to the distance control ECU. The distance control ECU sends this information to the ECM and performs control of cruise control.
| DTC Code | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area |
|---|---|---|
| U0235 | The vehicle speed is 40 km/h (25 mph) or more with the cruise control main switch on (vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode) and the data sent from the millimeter wave radar sensor to the distance control ECU is abnormal. |
