DESCRIPTION
The ECM sends the cruise control main switch signal, vehicle speed signal, etc. to the distance control ECU. The distance control ECU sends the acceleration signal, deceleration request signal, etc. to the ECM. The ECM controls cruise control according to these signals.

CHECK DTC (DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM)
Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise / Trouble Code.
Clear the DTCs Click here.
Perform the following to make sure the DTC detection conditions are met.
Tech Tips
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
Drive the vehicle at a speed of 40 km/h (25 mph) or more.
Turn the cruise control main switch on to set the vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode to the standby state.
