BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install 9 new clips (luggage compartment door moulding clip) and 2 new clips (back door outside garnish clip) to the back door outside garnish sub-assembly.

    2. Engage the 11 clips to install the back door outside garnish sub-assembly.

    3. Install the 2 nuts and connect the connector.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  2. INSTALL BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CAJR

      Install the back door opener switch with the 2 bolts.

    2. Connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Monitor)


    1. Engage the 2 clamps and install the rear television camera assembly.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

    3. Connect the connector.

  4. INSTALL BACK DOOR WEIGHT


    1. A01CCYG

      Engage the guide and install the back door weight.

    2. Install the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (for ALPHARD)


    1. Install the clip to the rear light assembly.

    2. A01CFBD

      Engage the clip to install the rear light assembly.

    3. A01CEOL

      Install the 3 nuts.

      Torque:
      1.7 N*m  { 17 kgf*cm, 15 in.*lbf }

    4. Connect the connector.

  6. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH WITH COVER (for VELLFIRE)


    1. Install the clip to the rear light assembly.

    2. A01CCQ9

      Engage the clip and install the rear light assembly with cover.

    3. A01CBLK

      Install the 3 nuts.

      Torque:
      1.7 N*m  { 17 kgf*cm, 15 in.*lbf }

    4. Connect the connector.

  7. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (for ALPHARD)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  8. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH WITH COVER (for VELLFIRE)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL POWER BACK DOOR TOUCH SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Power Back Door)


    1. Install the power back door touch sensor assembly with the 2 new power back door sensor clips.

      Install the 6 bolts.

    3. Connect the connector.

  10. INSTALL POWER BACK DOOR TOUCH SENSOR ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Power Back Door)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  11. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD ASSEMBLY

      Engage the 17 clips and install the back door trim board assembly.

    2. Install the 2 clips <A>.

  12. INSTALL SWITCH BEZEL (w/ Power Back Door)


    1. A01CF0R

      Engage the 6 claws to install the switch bezel.

  13. INSTALL BACK DOOR INSIDE HANDLE


    1. A01CEZ1

      Engage the 4 claws to install the back door inside handle.

  14. INSTALL REAR WINDOW SIDE GARNISH LH (w/o Power Back Door)


    1. A01CCJH

      Engage the 3 clips and 2 claws to install the rear window side garnish LH.

  15. INSTALL REAR WINDOW SIDE GARNISH LH (w/ Power Back Door)


    1. A01CEXN

      Engage the 3 clips and 2 claws to install the rear window side garnish LH.

  16. INSTALL BACK DOOR NO. 2 SERVICE HOLE COVER (w/ Power Back Door)


    1. A01CAW9

      Engage the 3 claws to install the back door No. 2 service hole cover.

  17. INSTALL REAR WINDOW SIDE GARNISH RH


    1. A01CC6D

      Engage the 3 clips and 2 claws to install the rear window side garnish RH.

  18. INSTALL BACK DOOR CENTER GARNISH


    1. A01CCZU

      Engage the 6 clips and 4 claws to install the back door center garnish.

  19. ADJUST TELEVISION CAMERA (w/ Parking Assist Monitor System)
