FRONT BUMPER (for VELLFIRE) REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH


    1. A01CBF2E01
      Text in Illustration
      *1 Bolt
      *2 Screw

      Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Install the front bumper side support LH with the bolt and screw.

      Torque:
      Bolt
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CEJWE01

      Install the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 9 bolts.

      Torque:
      Bolt A
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }
      Bolt B
      70 N*m  { 714 kgf*cm, 52 ft.*lbf }

    2. Engage the clamp to connect the ambient temperature sensor.

    3. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:


      1. A01CE51

        Engage the 3 clamps to connect the No. 2 headlight cleaner washer hose.

  4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER


    1. A01CD5P

      Engage the 4 guides to install the front bumper energy absorber.

  5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER

      Engage the hook.

    2. Engage the 2 claws to install the front bumper hole cover to the front bumper cover.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01CERA

      Engage the 3 claws and 2 guides.

    2. Install the front bumper hole cover assembly LH with the screw and 2 clips.

  7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  8. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A01CG1E

      Engage the 19 claws to install the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

  9. INSTALL INNER RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A01CGHA

      Engage the 16 claws to install the inner radiator grille.

  10. INSTALL NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE


    1. Engage the 12 clamps to install the No. 4 engine room wire.

  11. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Engage the 3 guides.

    2. Install the fog light assembly with the screw.

    3. Connect the connector.

  12. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  13. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR BEZEL (for RH Side)

      Engage the 4 claws and install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor bezel to the front bumper assembly.

      Tech Tips

      When installing the retainer, align the keyhole and slit as shown in the illustration.

  14. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR BEZEL (for LH Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  15. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (for RH Side)


    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor to the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor bezel.

    2. Connect the connector.

  16. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (for LH Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.
