    INSPECT STOP LIGHT CONTROL RELAY


    1. A01CC6NE15

      Disconnect the A6 stop light control relay connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A6-2 (STP) - Body ground Brake pedal released Below 1 V
      Brake pedal depressed 11 to 14 V
      A6-6 (+B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A6-4 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.

    4. A01CEEAE07

      Reconnect the A6 stop light control relay connector.

    5. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A6-8 (OUT) - Body ground Brake pedal released Below 1 V
      Brake pedal depressed 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, replace the stop light control relay.
