POWER SLIDE DOOR MOTOR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL SLIDE DOOR MOTOR UNIT


    1. A01CDZ7

      Pull out the lower part of the slide door toward the outside of the vehicle as shown in the illustration so that the slide door motor unit can be installed.

      Note


      • To prevent the slide door from being dropped, deformed or damaged, make sure that there are enough people available to assist when performing this operation.

      • Do not pull the slide door excessively. Otherwise, the slide door upper roller assembly or slide door upper rail may be deformed or damaged.

    2. Temporarily install the slide door motor unit as shown in the illustration.

    3. A01CAYR

      Install the slide door motor unit with the 7 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.8 N*m  { 80 kgf*cm, 69 in.*lbf }
    4. A01CDB4E01

      Turn the roller of the slide door lower roller assembly as shown in the illustration and slide it in through the cutout of the slide door lower rail to install the slide door.

      Note

      To prevent the slide door from being dropped, deformed or damaged, make sure that there are enough people available to assist when performing this operation.

    5. A01CBAR

      Connect the slide door lower roller assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.8 N*m  { 80 kgf*cm, 69 in.*lbf }
    6. A01CDLD

      Connect the connector holder with the 2 clamps.

    7. Engage the clamp.

    8. Connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL SLIDE DOOR LOWER RAIL PLATE

      Apply MP grease to the slide door lower rail plate.

    2. A01CD9U

      Install the slide door lower rail plate with the bolt.

      Torque:
      13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL SLIDE DOOR OPEN STRIKER


    1. A01CDW0

      Install the slide door open striker with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      19 N*m  { 194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

  4. CONNECT REAR DOOR NO. 1 WIRE


    1. A01CBIO

      Engage the clip and secure the rear door No. 1 wire with the bolt.

    2. Connect each connector.

    3. Engage the clamp.

  5. INSTALL SIDE STEP SUPPORT REAR


    1. A01CE4SE01

      Engage the 2 clips and install the rear side step support .

    2. Install the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.8 N*m  { 80 kgf*cm, 69 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the ground wire with the bolt.

  6. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE


    1. Captain type rear seat:


      1. A01CFIB

        Engage the 2 guides, 9 clips and 9 claws to install the rear door scuff plate RH.

    2. Tip-up type rear seat:


      1. A01CETW

        Using the reclining lever or foot-operated walk-in pedal, tip up the rear No. 1 seat and slide it to the foremost position.

      2. Engage the 5 clips, 4 claws and guide on the rear side of the scuff plate as shown in the illustration.

      3. A01CEQB

        Using the slide lever, slide the rear No. 1 seat to the rearmost position.

      4. Engage the 4 clips, 5 claws and guide on the front side of the scuff plate as shown in the illustration to install the rear door scuff plate RH.

        Remove the protective tape applied to the bottom of the rear seat.
