BACK DOOR CLOSER SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM


  1. DESCRIPTION


    1. The power back door ECU (back door motor unit)*1 or multiplex network door ECU (back door closer ECU)*2 controls the vehicle back door closer system functions. Back door closer system data and Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) can be read through the vehicle Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3).

      When the system seems to be malfunctioning, use the intelligent tester to check for malfunctions and perform repairs.

  3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE


    1. Measure the battery voltage.

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery.
