DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) detects that the sliding roof switch is stuck for 30 seconds or more.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

When the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) is replaced or removed and reinstalled, it requires initialization Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (FRONT AND REAR SLIDING ROOF SWITCHES)


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Slide Roof / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the intelligent tester.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SLIDING ROOF ECU - BODY GROUND)


    1. A01CBRYE03

      Disconnect the M2 ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the R14 switch connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      M2-6 (OPN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      M2-7 (CLS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SLIDING ROOF SWITCH (POWER SLIDE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH))


    1. A01CBRYE03

      Reconnect the R14 switch connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      M2-6 (OPN) - Body ground Front sliding roof switch off 10 kΩ or higher
      M2-7 (CLS) - Body ground Front sliding roof switch off 10 kΩ or higher

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SLIDING ROOF ECU - BODY GROUND)


    1. A01CBRYE03

      Disconnect the R9 switch connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      M2-6 (OPN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      M2-7 (CLS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SLIDING ROOF SWITCH (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY))

      Reconnect the R9 switch connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
